BrickStone gets first place for its Champion Food at the 2013 Brewpub Shootout

Chef Dino brought an amazing Herb-Crusted Scallop & Avocado Puree on Corn Bread Pudding to the Chicago Beer Society's 15th Annual Brewpub Shootout held on Saturday, January 19th in Chicago. It seems we weren't the only ones who liked it. Attendees of this year's event voted it the Champion Food and BrickStone earned first place for this delicious item!!!! Congratulations Dino!!!! We always love tasting your creations!!!!

The 2012 Great American Beer Festival® (GABF) competition awarded medals to some of the best commercial breweries in the United States today. Among them was BrickStone Restaurant & Brewery, winning Gold for the BrickStone APA in one of the top most competitive categories: American Pale Ale.

Our brewing team was excited to claim their award in Denver today! Congratulations to them all!!! We're looking forward to seeing more great brews from you.

BrickStone APA is in the Top 10!

BeerInfo.com just released their 2012 Top 10 Lists and BrickStone's APA is among them! Ranked 8th in the United States for the American Pale Ale category, this brew has become one of the favorites of beer lovers in the Midwest. We're glad to hear that since it's one of our favorites too!

BrickStone's APA is deep golden in color, made with light caramel malts, and hopped with loads of Amarillo hops with a slight citrus flavor. Our BrewMasters even dry hop this one for four days for a plentiful aroma.
