Our Brews - Week of April 11th

BrickStone Brewery understands the importance of creating great beer. Our handcrafted brews are made right on site. From ales to lagers, BrickStone brews are sure to satisfy. Here's a list of what's currently on tap ...

557 Light Lager 3.8%
A clean crisp American style light lager brewed with the lightest pilsen malt. Lagered at cold temperatures, this brew has a clean finish with just the right amount of noble hops.

Cherry Ale 4.2%
This perfectly balanced fruity ale is brewed with noble hops and sour cherries. It is a delicate tasting luxury designed to explode with flavor.

Forbidden Wheat 5.4%
A smooth refreshing Belgian Witbier brewed with Belgian malts, white wheat & a touch of Saaz hops. We add coriander & curaco to the whirlpool for perfect flavor and aroma. Served with an orange slice.

Irish Red Ale 5.5%
A medium bodied Irish Red Ale. A touch of roasted barley gives this brew it's deep dry roasted flavor. Made with caramel malts and hopped with Mt. Hood & East Kent Goldings.

Golden Promise 7.25%
An IPA, beautiful deep copper color and an off-white creamy head show off the earthy Munich malt & caramel undertones. Flavored with four different hop varieties.
We made a special dry-hopped version to be released on May 2, 2011.

Pale Ale 6.25%
Deep golden in color, made with light caramel malts, hopped with loads of Armarillo hops for a slight citrus flavor, then dry hopped for a plentiful aroma.
Voted as the 2009 Most Fantastic Summer Brew by the Chicago Beer Society

Chocolate Stout 6%
Black in color, brewed with a variety of chocolate malts, roasted barley for a full bodied chocolate taste.
We barrel-aged some of this brew in a Jack Daniels whiskey barrel that will be our 5 year anniversary ale to be released in June 2011.

Spring Seasonal: Blood Orange Hefe 7.25%
This Spring we've brewed a German style hefeweizen made with traditional German malts, then aged with blood oranges for a unique sweet citrus flavor.

BrewMaster's Choice: Hop Sinner Double IPA 9.5%
Our brewmasters, George & Tommy, choose a heavily hopped Double IPA this time. It's brewed with aromatic malts and a touch of honey malt, followed by sinful loads of citrus flavor and aroma.

And soon to come ...

Tinley Park's Brew & Vine Fest

The Second Annual Tinley Park Brew & Vine Fest was a fun show! Thank you to everyone who came out to see us and taste our Blood Orange Hefeweizen, Cherry Ale, Hop Sinner Double IPA, and Chocolate Stout. We really enjoyed hearing all of your feedback on our brews. And a special thank you to Steve Kamp for joining us for the day!

We all had a real good time. In addition to tasting great beer, wine, and food from many regional restaurants, breweries, and wineries, we got to spend time with old friends and make some new ones. We can't wait to see you all again soon!
